Our Mission
The mission of KHOY 88.1 FM is to provide community support and to enrich the lives of the people of South Texas through programming which amplifies Christian values. Our programs focus on the interests and concerns of our listeners and provides them with information, education, inspiration and a sense of peace and hope.
KHOY provides easy-listening music interspersed with messages and programs that are responsive to its primary mission and community needs. Our community involvement is unrivaled! Announcements dealing with topics of faith, religion, health, employment, housing, education and family are broadcast throughout the day.
Our Story
On December 17, 1985, KHOY began broadcasting in Laredo and South Texas. Our format is simple and unique: easy-listening music and instrumental serenity interspersed with peaceful and educational messages and programs that are responsive to our primary mission and community needs.
